| - Never again. I adopted two elderly cats 6 months ago that were given a clean bill of health by SPCA vet. So in paperwork, it states that PAH gave complimentary free exams. I brought both cats there.$300 later, the older cat had more tests that weren't needed. A month later, the younger cat seemed to have a UTI, So I took him there. Another $350, for unnecessary tests. The vet walks in, introduces himself, asks what problem is, then takes cat in back. Then he sends a vet tech back into room with an itemized bill that you have to approve, before the vet will even do anything. He comes back with cat, and says ok, we'll let you know. Exit stage left. Yesterday I called to see what else we could do and how much it would cost. They wanted another $500! So I went to another vet that truly cared about my animal. We are encouraged that our cat may just be okay after all. He spent 40 min. With us. Pebble? 5 minutes tops. I will Never go to these money machines again!
