It pains me to have to write a review like this. A customer dining in a restaurant inside a world-class hotel and casino like ARIA should not have anything less than an amazing experience.
It began when I called the restaurant reservation number to make a reservation. I had an important dinner meeting, and I wanted my guest to have an awesome experience. I made a reservation and got a confirmation number. When I arrived at the restaurant, nobody could find my reservation. I called the reservation line, and after talking to a representative, she encouraged me to talk to the manager. So I requested a manager, but after waiting more than 10 minutes on hold, nobody came back on the line and I hung up. Thankfully, the restaurant was not busy, so they were able to seat us.
When we sat down, I chose a bottle of wine and ordered it. I asked my guest to have the first taste. He tried to be enthusiastic. Then I realized that the bottle we received was a different year than what was on the menu. No wonder my guest struggled. I brought this up to the server, and she didn't think it was a big deal. I requested another bottle.
The meal was good. My desire is that the restaurant will make the experience better for its customers. Not plan on returning here unless things change.
