I usually have a pleasant experience here with a professionally made cocktail and friendly service. Today was a different experience. I ordered my usual Kettle One martini with blue cheese olives and my shaker rocks on the side. The drink arrived just shy of half the glass (with the olives in I've vodka). I mentioned that it looked shy and she (the bartender) schooled me on their shot sizes just as the guy next to me got a proper martini (full sized). The manager came to see me and again schooled me on shot sizes (rather than apologizing and making a new drink straight away), which I could care less... I've been there plenty and have always gotten a fair drink, this time I was forced to be "that guy". The manager offered to make me a new cocktail, which I declined because I didn't want to sit there with another minute after the whole martini lesson (I've been drinking them my entire adult life and I'm a former bartender). She took care of the check after I suggested I pay for half a drink since that's what I was served. I'm not saying not to go here, since usually it's great, but watch the bartenders making the drinks and go with the more experienced ones.
