Back again... as long as they're in business, I'll try to get over here a few times a year. This time it was dinner in the large dining room (3 total rooms in here, this being the largest). Loud, celebratory environment with dim lights and still NO TELEVISIONS (thankfully!). My friend and I ordered a couple of New York Strips from the charming Allie (we further named her, 'bacon bringer') -- she suggested some toppings for the steaks because she is a "stuff on top or stuff" type of person. The steaks and the toppings did not disappoint, but the meatballs appetizer was the big winner -- spicy, savory, and hearty. The cocktails are always top shelf here, so I won't bother to write about them. But be sure to get a seat at the bar on your first visit here to watch the magic happen... and if you're lucky like I've been, the bartenders will recommend some recipe books for you.
