  • I heart gelato! I went into Arlecchino with pretty high expectations based on all the Yelp reviews. My workday turned into a shit day of magnitude proportions, so at 5:30 on the way home I decided I needed to finally try Arlecchino, and get my gelato high on. Of course some dumb broad turning into the parking lot before me stopped driving into the parking lot at the last moment, and almost got me killed by oncoming traffic. I adapted, got around her and found a spot. I have been to Postino a couple of times, and I always find a non-valet spot around there. I hate drivers who get all panicked, and bring the parking lot drama. Chill out people, it's not rocket science. So the girl working there was super nice and welcoming. I started trying flavors, and when I told her it was my first time there, she was like you definitely need to try a few. I tried like six or seven flavors, and I am not even a little embarrassed to admit it! All of it was good. I was going to get two flavors, but I was having a hard time deciding which two to get. The girl suggested I just get three, and who I am I to disagree? I compare Arlecchino to my favorite gelato place in Chandler, Angel Sweet. They are both fantastic, but there are slightly different. Basically, it is a split decision, Arlecchino's mint chip was better, but Angel Sweet's panna cotta is still my all time favorite gelato. I guess I am just going to have to go back to both places! :)
