We came here last night to celebrate my aunt's birthday. We were greeted by Arnaldo, a friendly waiter who tended to our needs throughout the night. We were a party of approximately 20 people so our service was a little slower than it would for a smaller party. Going to dinner with a large party, a longer wait is to be expected so it wasn't a big deal. I ordered the mango mimosa and it was quite tasty!! For dinner, I had the shrimp with garlic sauce and chose yellow rice with veggies and Cuban toast as my sides. The shrimp was DELISH!! The yellow rice with veggies was a little on the salty side but I ate it all so I suppose it wasn't entirely TOO salty, lol! My husband ordered the Cuban sandwich and it tasted excellent! It was my first Cuban sandwich and I'm not a huge pork eater but ended up eating the second half of his sandwich for lunch today! The prices are reasonable but my cousin ordered a strawberry/mango margarita and it tasted too sweet and syrupy. I would recommend you try the mimosas!! Everyone was pleased with theirs! The restaurant itself is clean and the bathroom was nice!
It was also a plus that Arnaldo was willing to hold my aunt's birthday cake in the cooler until it was ready to be cut. Little things like that make for a more memorable experience. I will be going back with my husband so we can try other dishes and have a few mimosas!!
