  • It was the most surreal moment I've ever had at an auto repair shop.. In for a standard oil change with the expectation of getting pitched 15 different items "suggested for repair/replacement" even though my car only has 8k miles. Brian, the store manager almost made a tear can me to my eye when he pulled me outside to discuss my vehicle. No, he did not put his best sales pitch out there, no he did not make a million "helpful suggestions". What he did do should go down in history as the worlds most honest mechanic: he told me I didn't need my oil changed! Yup! He showed me the oil on the dip-stick explaining its color is that of a brand new oil and a service was not needed at this time. A push with a feather could have knocked me over. Thank you Brian for your honesty, you have earned yourself my oil change loyalty..when my car finally needs it ;)
