First visit was great! I felt like this office really cared, I got a nice care package and was welcomed very nicely.
Second appointment wasn't great. I sat in the waiting room for well over a half hour past my appointment before I was seen. I absolutely hate when doctors/dentists don't respect my time. Don't schedule appointments so close together if you can't handle the load!
This office just called about a week ago to see if I wanted to schedule my 6 month check up. I told them I had new insurance and needed to find that information before I could schedule. They called me almost every day to try to get me to schedule. I finally tracked down my new insurance information and called them. The woman asked me three times on the call if I wanted to schedule my appointment. I told her three times that I needed to make sure my insurance was covered for their office and was in network before I would schedule my appointment. The woman took my insurance information and was supposed to check in to it. That was now two days ago, now that I've asked them to do something they've stopped calling me daily to try to get me to schedule another appointment. I just called again this morning to check on the progress of them checking with my insurance company. I explained the whole situation to the first woman. She then transferred me to someone else but didn't bother to tell them anything so I had to explain it all again. Of course there was no note in their system about me calling and providing them my insurance information so they asked me for it again. Of course I'm not at home so I don't have the information handy. I'm the patient and customer, why am I going through such great lengths to come to your company? Shouldn't you be doing everything in your power to make this a painless process for me? If you don't want my money there are certainly many other dentists in the area!
I get annoyed when companies care about you or your service until they are asked to do something. This should be second nature to any dental office, calling and verifying insurance of a patient. Clearly it was too much for whomever I gave the information to. My time is worth much more then this!!!
