This isn't one of those fancy dine-in movie theaters where you can kick back your heels and have a beer. At the same time, the prices are much lower than at those upper-crust theaters.
Here, you can get a cheap (!!) diet coke in your Loyalty Cup, pay somewhere around $8, and go join throngs of teenagers on opening night to watch the Avengers. Alternately, you can do Harkins Christown the right way, and have the entire theater to yourself when you watch the same movie a week later on a weekday night. It's a cool feeling to walk out at the end of a good movie into an empty parking lot. Feels like a small town. Cool experience that you don't get very often in one of the biggest cities in America.
Nothing fancy here, but that's what makes it great.
