  • I loved this coffee hotspot in the 7th Street Public Market. Popped in on a Sunday morning - the place was bustling and the line was lengthy. But Not Just Coffee had a great system in place to move through the long line fast. Typically when I see this kind of speed at a coffee bar, I end up with a watery, lackluster latte. But my cappuccino was frothy and flavorful, and Jeff's mocha was intensely chocolatey without being syrupy sweet. Service was fantastic! Again - they were so busy that they could have easily been on the bitter side, but everyone was jovial and friendly. The same went for our fellow patrons. We sat at the bar and had great conversations with those around us. Apparently a great cup of coffee (and some stellar food from the surrounding market stalls) put everyone in a good mood. Watching the light rail come and go made for a great people-watching bonus. The next time you're in DT Charlotte on a weekend, treat yourself to a coffee or tea at the bar and grab a seat - it's worth sticking around for a bit!
