  • This is the closest theater to University Circle and while I normally wouldn't mind a bit of a drive, I was surprised at the relative convenience of this place. Also, the parking garage was a bonus since I hate having to park downtown, and the theater will validate your parking ticket so you can have 4 hours of parking for free. Bonus! The staff were friendly here, although I thought it was a little strange that they needed such intense security guards here. For just wanting to check my purse (to make sure I wasn't sneaking in outside food/drinks) they had on bullet-proof vests and a large utility belt. It made me wonder if something horrible had happened there and so now they had to step up security. Many of the seats in theater 6 were ripped, stained, or covered in black plastic trash bags; I'm assuming because they were falling apart and they didn't want anyone sitting there. For the amount of money they're spending on the security force, you would think they'd be able to replace the seats.
