  • So happy to finally have good poke again!!! So this will be an initial review because the only item we got here was the poke. Location 5/5: So the 5 rating is if you live in the south part of the valley. It's also very easily accessible, right off the 215 on eastern, you'll head south on eastern and its about a quarter mile to the left behind Taco y Taco, and Smashburger. Da Local 4/5: its a little bit confusing when you go inside, there is a sushi bar to the right, then the entrees as soon as you come in to the left, and finally the poke all the way in the back. Customer Service 2/5: Even though I'm a Hapa Haole I didn't feel any of the love when walking in, the employees inside didn't greet us. While my wife and I were standing in front of the cashier trying to figure out where the poke bowls where at, non of the employees behind the counter tried to help us out. There were two guys standing behind the counter yet not a single one greeted us or offered his assistance. Now when we figured out the poke stand was in the back, the lady there was very helpful and did an excellent job, because of her they get a 2/5. Da Poke 5/5: Da poke was on point I got the spicy poke and it tasted da bomb, flavor so good it broke da mouth!!! My wife got the spicy tuna avocado, hers was just as good! the Flavor brought me right back to the islands. Something to mention about their poke which is very important is that their poke comes from POKE EXPRESS, located in North Vegas, Uncle makes the best Poke in the valley and its great that his poke make it all the way over here. PS: the presentation of the poke stand took me back to Tamuras. Da Rice 3/5: it was alright nothing too yummy nothing too bad just alright, I wish they made sushi rice but hey now we know. Da Price 5/5: In Oahu, if you go to tamuras a pound of spicy tuna poke is $15:99, here at this mainland establishment it's the same price! This made me so happy because the prices where the SAME!!! I was expecting this type of poke in the valley to be more expensive. Overall go to this place if you live in the south part of the valley. My advice is to bring your own rice, Teri sauce, and crunch, then buy half a pound of poke and poke salad...now you have created your own poke bowl which will be the bomb as long as you know how to make bomb ass rice. If your looking for a really nice establishment but are not brown don't expect nice service here, you know what don't even expect them employees to even look at you. There is no Aloha here and that breaks my heart. Next time I go will be just to get the poke and then get go eat at home.
