Got my girlfriend a pair of diamond earrings from here for Valentine's Day this year in February. I purchased the standard warranty (not once did the sales associate mention an extended warranty or how to purchase one) with the earrings and figured I was safe if something happened to them. Lo and behold, one of the diamonds fell out (mind you, after less than regular wear) and I said "Oh, this will be an easy fix since I have the warranty!" Boy was I wrong. I went in today to get the diamond put back in and they wanted to charge me $80 for it. This is not for a missing diamond or a cracked diamond or anything of that matter. The diamond simply fell out and they wanted $80 to put it back in. Of course, this service is covered under the extended warranty, but like I said above, the sales associate that sold me the earings never once mentioned that there were two kinds of warranties and simply said the one I had purchased "covers everything". On top of that, the lady I spoke to today kept insisting that she was going to go ahead and fix the diamond even after I said I didn't want to pay the $80 to get it fixed today in hopes that I was stupid enough to just let it fly. It was annoying and bad customer service.
