Why do men always say they will call and never do? I purchased a 2008 Ford Escape from San Tan Ford last June and it was a typical, unmemorable experience - but part of the deal was 2 years (or 22,500 miles) of free oil changes.
I have had to replace the fuel filter, but typically the oil change has been free without the attempt to upsell. I hit 31,000 miles today and the free service was over - so I had to pay. The service advsior informed me of a special through mid September - $39.95 oil change and tire rotation - but the good part, it was buy one get on free. So next time, its free.
The oil change was good and they performed the service check. In doing so, they replaced the battery, which they said failed the test. It was free and under warranty. That was cool. The negative parts were this time they didn't wash and vacuum the car. It was as dirty as it was when I brought it...and the fact that they didn't call when it was ready...despite saying he would call and taking my number. My friend took her car after I picked mine up and what happened? When it was ready he didn't call either...I don't like having to call and chase them down when they say they will call me.
Guys - call when you say you are going to call...
