I came here a Friday for dinner and the place was pretty full! I was surprised because I had gone for an early dinner (5:00pm). Anyway, we were seated promptly and received excellent service from our waiter.
As an appetizer I ordered the fried zucchini flowers which are filled with goat cheese. This had good flavor but to me it seemed like it was frozen. When I bit into it some parts of the cheese were colder than others...which can only happen if the product was frozen prior. The flavor per se was ok but not a dish I would order again. A bit disappointing since I love goat cheese.
The second thing I ordered was the salmon stuffed with crab. This is an off the menu item but it is a special that our very attentive waiter recommended. This dish was served and I wish I was told it was going to be hot...because I burned my tongue. Anyway, the dish was also very flavorful but the salmon seemed a bit dry. I think this dish is missing some sort of sauce reduction to go on the top of the salmon.
The third dish ordered by my hubby was the risotto with shrimp. He devoured his plate and loved the flavors. I had a taste of his and it seemed like a delicious plate.
Overall I loved the service received here. The place is pricy so just be aware you will spend over $90 on two people if your order an appetizer. We did not get drinks. FYI: this restaurant has plenty of offers you can look for. On the website restaurant.com they had a $25 dollars off coupon over $50. Purchasing this coupon is $10 so you end up with a $15 savings. I have also heard they have Groupons available.
