  • Dr Stefan Tarlow is a good doctor and I appreciate the work he did on my knee. But I am now more than 80 hours of trying to pay my bills to his office and hospital. If you can pay the bill upfront, I recommend him, but if you will be doing any payments over time expect to manage each payment. Expect an office that will deposit checks without crediting them your account, send your bill to collections with no notification--even on the statement--that it is about to happen. I actually NEVER had a check credited to the account without multiple phone calls to the front office (I sent 6 checks!). What was Dr. Tarlow's response? "I am not a financial institution." My response, "No, but you should be able to at least credit payments to the account and alert me before you send it to collections." Great Doctor-Terrible Businessman. Disappointing.
