  • This was my third visit to Steak and Stone. My first visit was about a year ago and it was for a friends birthday party. I thought the concept was interesting, but the service was VERY slow. I chalked that up to us having a large group, even though we came in at staggered times and we had all had to pre-order what we wanted. I was willing to try again with just my wife and I. We live close by and went back a few months later. The service was a bit faster, but not very friendly, and the cleanliness of the place left a lot to be desired. Over the weekend, I had a business associate in town with his wife. They wanted to try something different and I, (unfortunately), suggested Steak and Stone. they thought the idea sounded great, but once again, the service was very slow, the place was to very clean, the staff seem like they want to be anywhere but at work and this time, the steak was not a very good cut for myself or my associates wife. We all left disappointed and commenting that "Well, it sounded like a nice place, but we don't need to go back." So disappointing.
