  • I thought this park was the "Bomb" when I first visited it. Protruding red rocks - beautiful rock formations, weathered by water and wind, a great way to spend a day and get away from the hustle/bustle of Vegas. We watched people hike the area and repel down some of the formations. After Visiting the Valley of Fire, any thoughts I had of Red Rock Canyon being "The Bomb" were quickly vanquished. That doesn't mean Red Rock Canyon isn't a nice place to visit, it just pales by comparison.
