  • My all time fav. hotel any where in the world. Excellent service, beautiful rooms and common spaces with some high tech features thrown in. You will notice the outstanding service as soon as you walk in with greetings coming from everywhere, hot towels for your hands and face and your offered a drink. You also get a personal tour of hotel and your room (and they refuse to take a tip). The room is simply beautiful. Lots of space and the perfect combo of old school luxury with modern features. They have the Japanese toilets that do everything electronically ( the lid rises as I approach it) and heated! If you wake up in the middle of the night and get out if bed, dim lights turn on automatically so you can navigate the room in the dark. Showers have a touchpad thermostat for the water. Take a shower or Bath - washroom is huge with TV's. Bed is incredibly comfortable. Nice seating bench with pillows by the windows with a beautiful view. Rooms are really spacious. Room service was quick and served professionally. The restaurant and bar in the hotel were also excellent. Enjoyed some fantastic meals there. Common sitting areas were beautiful and a pleasure to be in. Everything you can ask for and then some. Best choice when visiting Montreal if your budget can handle the price tag! BK
