  • I went to Mariana's specifically to pick up tamales for Christmas '09. What a mistake. There was too much masa, and not nearly enough meat. And, thy must have used too much lard and not enough water to make the masa because it was thick and hard like plaster...evn though they were taken right out of the cooker. What a total disappointment,
