  • I moved here six weeks ago and my new neighbour said I have to go to the Cheese Boutique, saying it is the best place around. Thank goodness I only wasted six weeks not knowing about this place. You name it, they have it. I restocked my most unusual and hard to find condiments and found a few new things. This place is packed with cooking inspiration. Not only did they have what I wanted, they often had it in more than one brand. Plus, while shopping, I was offered an espresso, which I gratefully accepted and which was brought to me with a delicious bite sized square of delicious bread pudding. About a half hour later (yes, a half hour later because I was still enjoying the amazing variety of goods and marveling at the butcher shop and the seven different kinds of fresh shoots in the produce section) someone offered me a wine glass with a fizzy blood orange drink that might become my new favourite summertime drink. The funny thing is, I left without any cheese, but four bags of other stuff. Next time, I'll give myself more time to browse. And, last but certainly not least, the staff is incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. This place is definitely as good as it gets.
