I've been to Knox United a few times for entirely non church related concerts and the Pecha Kucha speaker series. I can't and won't speak towards the religious side of this building, but as a seated event venue it's so very cool! It's one of the few impressive sandstone architecture churches in this relatively new city. Large arched ceilings and large arched stained glass windows give any event a classy and powerful cathedral feel. Acoustic music reverberates cleanly through this very live sounding venue and adds it's own unique characteristics to the listening experience.
It seats around 600 people in orchestra style pew seating with a second story balcony at the back and second level side seating close to the stage.
There's a large and spacious space basement level which makes for a great mingling space during intermissions.
