| - The bigger name movie houses in town are just fine, don't get me wrong. But I love this place. Is this a fancy pants IMAX, Massive screen situation? No, but I still love it.
It's right by my house, first of all. However there are many great aspects about this place that I think outrank the bigger name chains in town. First, they serve booze! Sweet. They also serve more than your traditional movie food . Want a pastry? Want a pizza? Want a sammich? Go 'head.
They also offer 'action seats' here. You can pay extra and sit in seats that are 'attached' to a movie (think action filled flick) and they offer a 'real life' experience by moving when appropriate in the film.
They also offer obscure films. Currently they are showing a Broadway production with Orlando Bloom. Previously they offered the Nutcracker that was taped in NYC, film fest films not offered anywhere else, Rocky Horror and others.
Like traditional movie houses they also offer matinee, student, and senior prices as well. Close to home, special events, booze and food. What's better?
