| - After showing a consultant a picture of the look I wanted, I was quoted $120 to have my highlights done. Thinking the pricing and quote was reasonable, I booked an appointment to have highlights done. At the end of my appointment, I paid $260 (with tip) - completely far from the quote they provided me, by a huge stretch. I was extremely disappointed, but they claimed that I had "more hair" than they anticipated and hence, needed to use more product.
In terms of the dye job itself - quality didn't seem to be on par with the price. I religiously used purple shampoo to keep the ashiness of my highlights intact, but after a month, the colour dulled significantly (despite minimal washing, use of a purple shampoo, etc), which makes me wonder if the product they used wasn't the best quality. My ashy highlights turned very brassy after just a few weeks - which just added to the disappointment I already felt about this place.
I wouldn't come back here again unless I had to. There are many other salons in the area that, I'm sure, could do a better job.
