| - I booked an impromptu stay here for my son and I via Priceline for a steal. What I didn't take into account was, despite a great nightly rate, parking is $20, the room service food is expensive (with a $6 "delivery" charge and 21% gratuity added), and bottles of water provided in the room are $3.95 a piece. The rooms are pretty small for a 4-star hotel as well. There were no bags in any of the trash cans which I found odd and, the lamp between the beds had only one light bulb (but the fixture is meant for two). The desk had dents and scrapes on the legs, and there were some scuffs on the walls. There are no free breakfast offerings and, despite being a beautiful restaurant with great food, there were spots covering my wine glass while dining at JP. The positives are that the staff is incredibly friendly, the view is beautiful and the beds are comfortable. In general, however, I was disappointed. I could've spent a little less, booked a 3-star in the same area, and had a bigger room with a free breakfast, free parking, and spent way less on food. It's a beautiful hotel don't get me wrong, I just didn't work into my one night stay how much I'd have to spend in addition to the nightly rate. I also expected slightly better quality in some areas for the costs.
