I never tried sushi until visiting here about a year ago. I'm hooked now.
This place has a few areas to sit. There's the sushi bar if you want to simply experiment and order as you please. There's a more cozy seating area near the entrance. There's also a large area near some huge windows with a great view.
The staff has always been patient and willing to help a sushi-noobie figure out what to order. I enjoyed sitting at the bar a couple times (I visit Vegas often) and the chefs are almost like bartenders. They have personality and will talk with seated customers.
I've tried a number of different dishes (don't ask me to name them). Before I took the plunge, I had steak and it was well prepared. I haven't tried anything exotic like eel or squid and kept mainly to the safer meats like tuna and shrimp. The food has been great.
This restaurant is usually near the top of my list to visit when I simply want to stick with what I know instead of exploring other restaurants.
