  • I buy green coffee beans here, and roast at home. There is a good selection from all over the world, and generic descriptions of the taste profiles or growing conditions. Prices for green beans are probably better than anywhere else in Canada, unless you are a shop owner and can buy 200 lb bags from other wholesalers. I buy 20 lb bags. I would go larger if greenbeanery had taste ratings on each new shipment, but they never do this. I priced Colombian Supremo: 20 lb for $100 with shipping. Excellent price. My 20 lb will lose a bit in the roasting process, but still, my effective cost is 16 lb for $100, and I get to roast and grind small amounts as needed. This is how pioneer Canadians did it, until P&G came along with stale canned crap and massive advertising. Green beans will last 2 years or more, just like dried chili or pea beans. Greenbeanery has a fine selection of coffee and tea apparatus, and excellent repairs or service at reasonable cost.. I'd give 5 stars if they rated their beans.
