I am so irritated!
In December, I had no heat when it was 45 degrees out so I called my Home Warranty and they sent out Cool Blew. The guy did a lot of checking and stated that the issue was my thermostat and that it needed to be replaced, so he replaced it. I had heat and all appeared well.
Fast forward 3 months and now it is hot out and I need AC. I turn on the AC only to discover that all I get is heat even with the AC on! Obviously the thermostat is not installed right. So now, I have to call the home warranty AGAIN and pay ANOTHER $65 to have the thermostat installed correctly. Since it has been past 30 days, the original work order is closed and my only option is to pay $65 again.
Seriously, shouldn't that be a basic no brainer for an AC/Heating company? That they can accurately install a thermostat???? I told the warranty company to send me someone else this time. I don't have time for that kind of incompetence.
