  • I do not even know where to start. I worked here when Big Jim and Joyce were here. I do not live in Pittsburgh any more and only get back once every 3-4 years. First look it's still the same. But this place is DIRTY. From the front cash register to the pictures in the back dining area. Had the wedding soup that hasn't changed flavorful more veggies and meat than broth as Jim and Joyce always liked it. Fried zucchini was really greasy and the marinara was In a plastic cup. I know it's not fine dining but that was never done. Spaghetti and meat sauce. That was very watery but nicely cooked pasta. Garlic bread was hard as rocks but the watery sauce softened it up. They need to shut down for a week and paint and clean. Staff was just OK, not outstanding as has been in the past. No pride in the work. This hurts my heart it write this review. But the truth is the truth and it's time to face it.
