  • Short version: if you have any love of kitchy, funky original city sights, do not miss this place. Long version: We are from Buffalo and were planning a weekend trip to Pittsburgh. Neither of us had been there before so we did some research on Trip Advisor and read about Bicycle Heaven. It's not really near anything else we wanted to do - not walkable from city center - so we stopped there first on our way into the city. Totally worth it! If you like museum or kitchy stuff or antiques or just unique sites, you must go there. I mean, he's got PeeWee Herman's bike! GPS got us there fine but it's in a weird industrial area (not dangerous, just not a retail area). Thousands of bikes, displays and collectibles. Absolutely incredible! It's free too but I strongly encourage you to make a generous donation.
