  • This review is primarily for Mel, a new stylist at Parlour (though I have gone there before Mel's placement). Mel used to cut at Grateful Head, there are some terrific people there too, but Mel is the reason I went. I saw her cuts on some friends, and was led to her. Now, I tend to hate my hair, even though really, it's just short and low maintenance, some stylists can get it so wrong. You can talk to Mel and you can even give her feedback as she is cutting, she listens. She knows, it's her creativity, but it's your head and she takes pride in her work. My sisters no longer have to listen to my daily bitches about my hair. Mel just gets it right, basically, she's so good that every cut has grown out beautifully, so I trust her. She is the bomb absolutely!
