  • I have been to Levant a few times in the past and never had issues but today i felt discriminated. My friend asked if we can go out for lunch and i said yes lets go to Levant, they serve good food. At around 12:15pm on 04/08 we enter the restaurant and are just standing there, the lady at the register looks at us but does not talking at all. A few mins later, two guys walk in and the lady looks at them and asks would you like to sit at bar or table, they say table and she says, yes a few mins. A couple of mins later, i walk up to the lady and ask what is the wait time etc and i get a reply in not so good manner "no tables are empty" i ask how much is the wait time, she says "20 mins". I show a concern that we have been standing there and no one came to ask letting us know about wait time etc and she says "i am the only one here". I walk back to where i was earlier. A minute later the 2 guys who walked in after us, sit on the bar and the same lady comes to them and says, do you want to sit at the table, i have this table for you(pointing at one table). I was so frustrated and felt do discriminated i guess based on my looks and appearance. I have to say that i have not been treated this way at any restaurant earlier and not even at Levant when there was a different staff i guess. Thanks.
