| - Upon walking into Stack, we were impressed by the beautiful rippling curving hard wood wall panels, elevated ceilings and African mahogany tables. The architectural design resembles a canyon. This restaurant is downright beautiful with its sleek natural curves and lowlights. It is unlike any steakhouse décor. Along with the stunning décor, service and food was top-notch.
Our server, Kyle, effused an easy-going friendliness yet attentive professionalism throughout the evening. We perused the cocktail and wine list as Kyle suggested several beverage recommendations. Upon checking in on Yelp, we accepted the FREE offer for a House Shot then ordered a couple of Dogfish Head 60 Minute IPAs. We each received a House Shot of raspberry vodka.
Meanwhile, we were deciding on our dinner selections and chose to split our meals because we were still sort of full from our lunch. Kyle accommodated us by having the kitchen split our fresh made Caesar salad and 24 oz. Tomahawk ribeye steak. He also recommended the Adult Tater Tots which were deep fried GB&D and stuffed with bacon and Brie cheese. The Caesar salad was refreshing and the croutons, which I don't normally eat, were light and toasted crisp. The ribeye steak was AMAZING...tender, juicy, grilled-to-perfection and flavorful. It was huge and we were glad to share it between ourselves. Our Adult Tater Tots were large marshmallow sized hash brown "plugs". It's exterior was crisp fried golden brown while its interior was a bacon and Brie stuffed potato. We were content and satiated from our fine steak when Kyle presented us with the Dessert Menu. Oh, our knees went weak when we noticed their Signature Mint Chocolate Bonbons served with Bailey's Irish Cream dip. Those "bites" into the bonbons were scrumptious and a chocolate-mint lover's dream!
Once in a while, we get cravings for beef. Stack satiated our appetite with a twist on the classic American steakhouse that we'd gladly return for.
