  • We arrived just after 5:30 pm as we wanted to avoid a wait for a table. Even though the restaurant was almost empty, we were seated at a less than desirable table. Shortly thereafter, two other groups were seated flanking our table and within ear shot with most of the very large room still empty. Why cram everyone into one small corner of the restaurant? Sure, it makes things easier for staff but we are paying to dine out and wish to enjoy the experience. The music was uncomfortably loud. We asked if it could be turned down and were immediately told, "probably not". Why? There were less than ten people in the whole place. Who would care if the music was less than blasting? We ordered 3 of the specialty items. The first two were very tasty. The third was overpriced and somewhere between "meh" and "yuck". I know this place is all the rage but I totally don't get it. We left hungry but decided to cut our losses and leave as we were just annoyed by the attitude of the wait staff and the less than desirable overall experience.
