Award-winning pizza doesn't make the experience worth it. Horrendous service: no water refills throughout the course. Bussers didn't stop by the table once as they SLOWLY cleaned tables. Server was fairly nice but did not check on us as we did not enjoy the food and we wish we could had shared our concerns. Worst of all: it was some sort of trivia night and they could have not pierce my ears anymore with their microphone feedback (the host allow this to happen multiple times). The trivia night didn't make sense as the music from the casino muddled out the host's voice. Is there a manager to supervise and control the atmosphere and service? I could not identify one..
Now to the food... We opted for the Americano pizza... We were told it had a thick crust, we were surprised it wasn't. The pizza was utterly sloppy and greasy. Everything fell off of the dough... The calamari seem promising but the breading was not one bit crispy and was soggy. The sauces were not as tasty as it had looked in pictures. Everything lacked a kick factor and did not deliver texture-wise. I wish I could have squeezed a WHOLE lemon tree onto the calamari for some complementing flavors but hey, no servers, no bussers, no managers around to assist.
I hardly give one stars but this was one experience that disappointed me so much as I went FAR out of my way to try this award winning spot.
