I've consigned many items at Switch and the service has been consistently poor. When I've arranged for and paid for items to be picked up the drivers have consistently screwed up on time IF they even show up (I live a mile from the store so this is a head scratcher). The employees have been down right rude about whether items can be dropped off at the front or back of store. I've already waited several minutes in the back to be told that I should pull around and walk it through the front door. They say large items in back and small in front. What would you consider a floor lamp?
I dropped off a rug and received a deduction for having to clean it because of pet hair. It was 100% not pet hair. The rug was actually brand new but was fibrous.
The last straw for me was dropping off bedroom lamps and being told that they were shipped to another location and that I should pick up the check at the other location. (A location several miles away from the drop off store 1 mile from my home).
In summary they do not respect the customer period. I was way too tolerant. Do not make my mistake.
