  • Let me start off by saying, this was my first visit to Lancasters. Until today, I had only had take out once, maybe six years ago. We decided to give Lancaster a try today. My boyfriend had been many times before. We arrived and were immediately seated. While looking over the menu, I noticed a good amount of the options had mushrooms in them. Me, being highly allergic, I had to choose something that didn't have mushrooms listed to be safe. It also narrowed down my choices quite a bit. I settled for the burger with the fried egg and a side of mac and cheese. The mac and cheese tasted like over cooked noodles and watered down cheese wiz. The burger had no taste and again, these cheese was a weird consistency. The waitress refilled our drinks, but never asked us how our food was. I only took maybe two bites of the burger and by the time she came around the burger was completely dissected. The bacon wasn't cooked and the egg seemed like it had been siting under a heat lamp. When the yolk came out, it was already filmed over. We had our plates filled with trash, the server offered us refills once more yet, didn't pre bus. Or upsell desserts or ask if we were ready for our check, just disappeared
