  • I love this store. Mountain Equipment Co-Op has to be the best outdoors store in the world. They use ethical sourcing for their products, and a lot of products are made right here in Canada. Try finding a store where shirts are made in Canada, I doubt you'll find very many, MEC happens to be one of them. They have recently added bikes to their massive list of outdoor equipment, my g/f and I purchased two Hold Steady bikes from here and we love it, they offer bike tune up services and they will rent out almost anything in the store if you need it at very reasonable rates. MEC also gives back 1% of what you spend for the planet. Staff is very knowledgeable and are outdoor fanatics, they are very helpful and not pushy. What are you waiting for? Go check it out!
