| - Gone here twice. Had a wait-list both times, but the last time we opted for the pizza-bar. The wood-fire oven and I were separated by a glass. It was cool to watch the pizza chef work his magic. He was very clean and busy the whole time.
The service the first time wasn't up to par, hence the fifth star knocked off, but the last time fiancé and I were there, service was superb! The waitress was super sweet!
Now, I did get a little bitter towards fiancé waiting on my pizza. I assumed, like a dumb-dumb, that all pizzas were going to be made by this pizza chef in front of me. I was wondering why he wasn't making my pizza and assumed the waitress did not punch in the order. But there's another kitchen... Don't worry, I didn't let my hangry self affect my composure towards her.
We ordered the New Yorker the first time - way too big for two people, but was freaking delicious! Goat cheese was creamy and sausage was the best!
The second time we order the St. Anthony - holy cow, yum-mazing! It had basil, fennel sausage, and EGGS-over-easy on top! We mixed the eggs evenly throughout the pizza; it gave it a creamy, yolky flavor.
Definitely a must try!
