  • We came back to Guidos as it has been a couple of years. Guido's needs an establishment in So. Cal. It would do terrific business!! A great deli that serves meals on the other side of the house. They also have a small but great selection of condiments for cooking and other items to make a great dinner at home as well. We had the Pastrami sandwich and of course the broasted chicken. First off, the service was terrific. Our server was great. He was friendly, knowledgeable and on top of everything!! The bang for the buck is pretty good here. The Broasted Chicken platter which is 4 pieces of awesome broasted chicken, salad, great toasted garlic bread and three large pieces of broasted potatoes. The flavor on all the items was on point and it was great to see the QA is still in tact and the food was just terrific. All that food for just $14. The Pastrami Sandwich was also very good and tasty and served on a nicely toasted roll. I could not find one thing wrong with our visit. The food was superb, the service was awesome and the bang for the buck was perfect. We finished off our dinner with their chocolate cake and three servings of their Gelato. White Chocolate, Rasberry (WOW!!!!) and Pistachio. I thought the serving was going to be normal but each serving was the size of a baseball. LOL!!!! It was funny as I could not eat all of this and had much to share with everyone. It is absolutely worth trying. The cake was light and not dense with good consistency and flavor and the Gelato was just terrific. Once again, I highly recommend going to Guido's!!!!
