  • Typical brunch place that is a bit overrated. It has the same brunch food as anywhere else but always seem to be packed! By no means is it bad but the service is very slow since it's always packed. Our waiter took nearly 20 minutes just to notice us and take our order. I got the smoked salmon eggs benny and the yolk was perfect but I could barely taste the salmon. The fruits wasn't sour but the eggs were lukewarm and there wasn't anything particulary outstanding about it. But for people who love a filling brunch--universel is where it's at! They load the plate with lots of food but you also end up paying a bit more than other brunch places, but it's a nice, bright place that serves up filling your tummy :)
