As a rule of thumb I personally always go into Best Buy pre-prepared with information on what I want. Trust me people, it's less of a headache this way, most of the time the staff will know just about as much as you do on the product you are looking or thinking about buying, seriously. Do research first. Find the model number on their page. Do a Google search and look at what people are saying about this part. Splurge shopping for electronics is not advisable and the clerks in the stores are more concerned about getting you to buy the product so they can sell you attachments to go with your purchase. If you go in, know exactly what you are going to buy in advance, you'll have a much faster and easier time.
That lil tidbit is just advice for people going in thinking Staff will be knowledgeable. This review however is more along the lines of service.
Personally I have no gripes about how the staff act, friendly enough, apologise if something's taking too long. My beef is with how every time I'm trying to exchange something here it just seems to take quite a long time as their Point of Sale systems don't seem to like making it easy for the poor staff, and their trade in values for games seem to be much LOWER than places like EB Games.
Today I was taking advantage of an offer that required the use of a coupon. Now I don't blame the person serving me for the delay because they seemed to be honestly be trying their best, even the other staff members that came to assist couldn't figure out how to make the system co-operate. So a coupon basically took about 15mins roughly to be processed.
Ah well. At least the staff did honestly try to get it resolved, I can't fault them for that. Best Buy... Make it easier for your staff!
