  • I can't believe I've never been here before! I've been missing out! The food is excellent. Portions are huge, so you won't be going home hungry. The atmosphere in the restaurant is down home and cozy. You order at the counter and then sit at a table with a checkered tablecloth until they bring it out to you. Which they do very quickly. The sauce here definitely deserves the awards won. My one complaint is the $4 split fee. My boyfriend and I came here for date night and ordered a half rack of ribs half chicken combo for $23, but then were charged $4 to split it. If we had ordered two separate meals (one ribs, one chicken, two sides) it would have cost $27, which is the same as the combo + split fee, so not a big deal, but that's my point. Getting the combo is not a deal in any way. Why even have a combo option if you're going to charge the same for it? Plus, it's pretty unreasonable to think one person could eat all of that food (it comes with 2 sides), so they are obviously intended for two people. All in all, date night for under $30 is still awesome and we left stuffed and happy.
