| - Today was my first visit to Sunsplash. The waterpark is older and shows some wear, but appears to be in decent condition, with ample staffing. Staff tested water quality at slides, which was good to observe. I thought it was odd that there weren't a few clocks dispersed around the park; the only one I saw was in the ice cream shop, where you get and return the locker keys. I enjoyed the wave pool, lazy river, and most of the water slides. I would rate the park higher except that I had a rather painful experience on a slide called the "Master Blaster". Apparently my husband barely heard a staff person mention to "not slouch inside the innertube". My son and I either weren't told this, or we didn't hear this necessary warning. Signs with picture examples of correct/incorrect seating would be helpful at the slide entrance. It is a fast slide with numerous "bumps", so it is quite necessary to make sure your backside is not too deep inside the innertube or else your rear or back will hit the bumps -- HARD. I learned this, quickly, but I am on an ice pack tonight for a visibly bruised lower back. I would not be surprised if someone has broken their tailbone, or worse, on that unfortunate slide. Please do use caution on the "Master Blaster".
