After a crazy adventure in the snow all over town we decided why not end it in the old port ? We were walking around and wanted to sit beside a fire to chit chat but still be outside. We saw the wheel I mean how can you miss it ? Lighting up the sky with its multicolour flashing colors we had to get a closer look. Turns out the only fire pit is at the wheel so while warming up there we decide to give it a go. Nobody was there as it was freezing out so better for us :)
Purchased two tickets which was $57 the girl at the counter didn't look happy to be there but I didn't let that stop my night. We hurried to the wheel and was greeted by a nice young brunette girl where we spoke about all the different wheels we've been on like in Paris and London. She told us we would only go around 3-4 times but little did I know we would be going around 5-6. I'm not a fan of heights or rides as I got older it's something that doesn't sit well with me but this was chill. There's a light if you want to turn on your little box but it's bright so best to leave it off to enjoy the colors of Montreal night life.
This fit up to 8 people which I wouldn't feel comfortable with I think 2 is more then enough. There's controls for temperature and loudness you're supposed to be able to use but it wasn't working so cold air was blowing on us.
Night time is the best time to go on doesn't really matter summer or winter it's the lights you're gonna wanna see.
I think it's something you do once in your life just to say hey I did it. Try it out if you're not scared :)
