| - I'm mad that I can't give this place neg. stars. Oh my gosh! This was my WORST experience at a hotel in my entire life, anywhere is the U.S. It gets no worse. The entire experience sucked. From the moment we checked in we were greeted at the front counter by a rude man. He thought I was walking up to the counter without being called so he quickly looked up and shouted at me " I'm not ready yet"! And threw his hand up at me. Well we went to another check in clerk and he was nicer, but since we were using a free comp for our room to try the Luxor out, miraculously he only had one pyramid room available and it just so happened to be in a back ornery with no view. I knew we were in trouble as soon as he said that. It WAS NOT the only room, because I had just heard him discussing room choices with another guest, and it was a weeknight in feb. Gimme a break, minor stupid. Anyway, we went to put our things in room and sure enough it was horrible. Our view outside the door was a wall in the pyramid, and our view out the window was a huge a/c unit. This was nothing compared to the numerous roaches I kept encountering. They were in the corners of the room, the floor, the walls, and my favorite was the ones crawling on the toilet when I went to the restroom. We left in the middle of the night because we just kept finding them. I couldn't sleep in there. Still had to pay 28.00 for my "free" comp. room, and honestly I'm pissed I had to pay that. We were not even there 5 hours. We go to VEgas a lot, and have stayed at other hotels. I have NEVER been so disgusted. I will never return there and will tell anyone who will listen not to go. If you want cheaper, Excalibur is next door, and a lot friendlier, cleaner, and nicer!
