This UMC Quick Care upon arriving was awesome. The receptionist, nurses, and radiologist technician were helpful and the location was clean and
time from arriving to leaving was typical for urgent cares. My low rating lies with the doctor who assisted me . I understand they are busy , but if your too busy to properly diagnosis and treat a patient , then in all honestly you should not work in the medical field . Doctor Consuelo Kinahan seriously disappointed me. I repeatedly told her how I got my injury , got xrays, and you would think it would become clear what I fractured. She came in confused asking again and again where it was tender. After the xrays she tried to explain how I had a crack down my bone( she did not specify what I fractured) like a vase and not to wear high heels or flip flops and ended up buddy taping my two toes. My paperwork I was sent home with states " Closed nondisplaced fracture of fifth metatarsal bone of right foot" . Which means I fractured my foot not my toe . Even if I did fracture my toe not my foot , the paperwork should have displayed and properly worded that information. Maybe it was an accident but it is dangerous to make these simple mistakes like this because you dont want to invest enough time in a patient . Now Im trying to figure out my actual injury and how to treat it in a timely manner thanks to this incompetent doctor . Edit : Went back and found out that my treatment was correct but what they wrote on the summary was wrong . Saw a different doctor today ( Miguel R Sepulveda) ,happy he fixed their mistake but came across annoyed and was condescending. He was clapping at me and saying now you can go fix your toe .
