  • I will first by starting with this company actually advertises under two different names. I first contacted Mackenzie tree trimming and Geoff called me. I received very poor customer service, which I will discuss. The next day Agave Tree Trimming called me (Geoff's wife), which I was very confused about. I find this a bit shady that they advertise under two different names. When Geoff called he first got some very general information, which was fine. He made comments how I was "so far out." He said he was doing a job in the general area and I told him I was available the next day to get a quote. He said he was not. I asked him on average how much it would cost per tree, and he said anywhere from $150.00 to $250.00. I was in a bit of shock since I needed four trees worked on. I did receive other quotes that were lower. Geoff asked me how much they were and I told him I was not going to tell him. Geoff would not make an appointment while I was on the phone and said he "would have to get back to me when he is available." I found this very unprofessional since I still wanted to get a quote. He again said that he couldn't and is very busy. He further stated that I should probably just go with the other quotes I received. I told him that he was being very unprofessional and the call ended at that point. The next day I received a call from Geoff's wife calling from "Agave." I was a little confused sine she mentioned her husbands last name, "Mackenzie." I asked her to clarify if they were the same company listed as "Mackenzie Tree Trimming," and she said yes .I told her I spoke to her husband the day before and she did know about the call. I asked why she was calling since they were too busy to make an appointment yesterday. She said she didn't know she was calling me. I told her thanks, but I will not be using either of these companies. This company does not even deserve the one star. Please do not use this company. ****Response to message the company left*** The response that this company posted clearly shows how unprofessional they really are. Not only that, he decided to add lies to dis-credit my poor review. I was never rude with him nor did I "fly off the handle or scream on the phone" Fact of the matter is, your business was so unprofessional I decided to create a Yelp account just to provide an honest review for future customers.
