  • I would give this 0 stars if I could. I would rethink ever going here! My mom went to Dr, J Carter for a lump under her arm. After an exam she was told that her cancer had returned without any type of tests run (after 8 years of being cancer free) and scheduled appointments for a surgeon and oncologist. My parents are snow birds so my mom booked a flight home to start the treatment process leaving my dad down there. My daughter who is a nurse flew home from Hawaii to be a the appointment as well as my sister and my self taking time off from work to also attend the appointment. The new doctor felt that it wasn't cancer but to make a correct diagnosis scheduled a MRI and ultrasound and a biopsy (which should have been done before the word "CANCER" is given. Turns out NO cancer!!! This entire ordeal costs my family with travel and everything over a thousand dollars and after telling Dr. J Carter that her diagnosis was incorrect she denied stating she said that even though we have the records of her diagnosis and the appointment information - if you don't have cancer why would you go see a oncologist and a surgeon???? No apology, no nothing. I would think twice about going here! This caused a lot of stress and worry for my entire family for nothing and I would not want anyone else to have to go through this. NOT good medical practice or patient care.
