| - I loved our dining experience here. My husband and I moved here from Chicago and feel like it's truly difficult to find nice restaurants in the neighborhood without having to go downtown. You're left with a lot of chains in the suburbs, but the Sparklings really hit the mark on food quality and service.
Now, when we go out, it's typically just the two of us. We also make reservations in advance, and overall try to avoid the peak times. These are all things that are simply common sense if you want to ensure expedient service.
If you go in a big party, your food will take longer, because of all the orders from your table being made, this isn't a chain with prepackaged foods, that's why you came here instead of your local Outback or whatever.
If you didn't make a reservation, and walk in on a Friday night, you're going to have to wait for a table.
If you come in on Sunday morning for bottomless mimosas like every other Becky in the restaurant, don't expect it to be refilled the instant you guzzle that bottom of the barrel champagne because "you want to get your moneys worth".
Now I'll admit, there are places I'll never return to based on repetitive occurrences of poor quality, or just absolutely abysmal service, but reading some the 1 star reviews, I can not believe the entitlement.
Most of the reviewers that give 1 star I find, basically always give 1 star.
Honestly, you can't take anyone serious who has more than half of their reviews being 1 star.
Like, if you always have a bad service experience when you go out, look at the common denominator!
What's the x factor? Find a mirror and see that the problem is you.
Rant over.
But really, if you want something delicious and different, try this place for sure.
